What this app collects
Focus Coach AI does not collect any personal information from you. The app does not have user accounts, does not ask for your name or email, and does not record your behaviour on a server we control.

How suggestions are generated
When you tap Generate, the app sends a short text prompt — built from the productivity tool you chose (Tasks / Day plan / Email / Meeting / Decide), the topic you typed, the context, and the tone — to Pollinations’ free public text API at https://text.pollinations.ai/openai. Pollinations returns the suggestion which the app shows on the Generate screen.
No photo, contact, calendar entry, or device identifier is sent. Only the plain-text prompt you implicitly created by filling in the form is transmitted. If you paste meeting notes or a sensitive email draft into the Generate screen, that text is sent to the third-party API — only paste content you are comfortable sharing with that service.
AI-generated content disclosure
Task lists, day plans, email drafts, meeting agendas, and decision analyses are generated by a third-party large language model. AI output is a starting point only, not a finished product. Specific risks worth understanding:
- Drafted emails may contain placeholder names, fabricated dates, or claims you did not make — always proofread and replace placeholders like [Name] before sending.
- Day plans assume a generic context and don’t know your actual calendar, energy levels, or commitments.
- Decision analyses are not a substitute for professional advice. Focus Coach AI is not legal, medical, tax, financial, mental-health, or relationship advice. For decisions that fall in any of those categories, consult a qualified professional.
- Suggestions can be repetitive, generic, or factually wrong. Sanity-check facts, names, dates, and amounts before sending or scheduling.
Network connections
The History tab and Settings run entirely on your device. The internet is used for: (1) Google AdMob to load ads (see “Advertising” below), and (2) sending the prompt to Pollinations when you tap Generate (see above). The app requires an active internet connection to open — you will see a “No internet connection” screen when offline.
Permissions the app requests
- Internet / network state — required to request ads and to call the Pollinations text API.
The app does not request photo, contacts, location, calendar, microphone, camera, notifications, or any other sensitive permission.
Advertising
Focus Coach AI shows ads provided by Google AdMob in four formats: banner (small strip at the bottom of every screen), interstitial (occasional full-screen ad after several generations), app-open (full-screen ad when you bring the app back to the foreground), and rewarded (an optional full-screen ad you can choose to watch in exchange for an extra generation past the per-session free allowance). Google’s advertising SDK collects and processes limited data — for example, your device’s advertising identifier and approximate IP-based location — to serve and measure ads. This is governed by Google’s policies:
If you live in a region where consent is required (the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or a US state with applicable privacy law), the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) or sets npa=1 (non-personalized ads) so it stays compliant with GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13 and is not classified as a “family” app on Google Play.
