Privacy Policy — Gold Prices World
What the app does
Gold Prices World displays indicative reference spot prices for gold, silver, platinum and palladium across a curated list of world currencies, intended for educational comparison only. The first launch uses prices bundled with the app. On every subsequent launch the app fetches an updated snapshot from a static JSON file hosted on the publisher's public GitHub Pages site (https://moebahlawan87-commits.github.io/moe/gold-prices-world.json). The fetch is a plain GET request with no headers, cookies, query parameters, or personal data attached. The snapshot is cached on the device so the app works offline.
The app does not provide real-time trading quotes, buy/sell signals, market analysis, or investment advice. Figures are indicative and actual spot prices, retail (jeweller/dealer) prices, and wholesale prices vary continuously. Every screen displays the snapshot's "Last updated" date and a "Reference data only — not investment advice" disclaimer so freshness and intent are always transparent.
Information the app collects
- No personal information. No name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or other personal data.
- No account. No sign-in, no profile, no cloud sync.
- No portfolio tracking. The bullion calculator runs entirely on the device; no weight, purity or currency input is ever transmitted.
- No analytics SDK beyond what Google AdMob requires to serve ads.
Advertising
Gold Prices World shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Google's advertising SDK collects and processes limited data — for example, your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and approximate IP-based location — to serve and measure ads. Ads are loaded only when the device has an internet connection.

In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to display a consent form on first launch. You can review or change those choices from the "Manage ad privacy choices" button on the About & settings screen.
Permissions the app requests
- Internet — to load advertisements served by AdMob and to fetch the prices snapshot.
- Network state — to detect whether the device is online so the app can show an offline screen instead of failing silently.
The app does not request access to your precise or approximate location.
Not financial advice
Gold Prices World is a reference tool. It does not facilitate trading, accept payments, hold custody of metal, or recommend any specific purchase or sale. Prices shown may differ — sometimes significantly — from the spot price at any given moment, from retail dealer prices (which include markup), and from wholesale exchange prices. Always confirm with a regulated bullion dealer or exchange before transacting.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13 and is not classified as a "family" app on Google Play.
