What this app collects
Iman Daily does not collect any personal information from you. The app does not have user accounts, does not ask for your name or email, and does not record your behavior on a server we control.

Network connections
Iman Daily requires an active internet connection to open. The internet is used for:
- Quran text — fetched on demand from the public, free AlQuran.cloud API. The requests contain only the surah number; no identifier of you or your device is sent.
- Quran reciter audio — streamed on demand from AlQuran.cloud when you tap a verse. Only the ayah number and chosen reciter ID are sent.
- Nearby Mosques — when you open the Nearby Mosques screen, the app queries the public OpenStreetMap Overpass API with the latitude and longitude of the city you selected (not your GPS position). No identifier of you or your device is sent.
- Google AdMob — to load and show ads (see "Advertising" below).
The app does not send anything you type or any personal data to any server.
Permissions the app requests
- Internet / network state — required to load the Quran text and to show ads. The app is gated behind a "No internet connection" screen if the device is offline.
- Notifications — to alert you at each prayer time. Used only locally.
- Schedule exact alarms — to fire prayer alerts at the exact minute.
- Receive boot completed — to re-arm alarms after your device restarts.
- Vibrate — for the tasbih counter's haptic feedback.
The app does not request location, contacts, storage, microphone, camera, or any other sensitive permission.
Advertising
Iman Daily shows ads provided by Google AdMob. All ad requests are sent as non-personalized (the app sets npa=1 on every request), so Google does not use behavioral profiling to target ads to you. Google's advertising SDK may still collect and process limited data (for example, your device's advertising identifier and approximate IP-based location) to serve and measure contextual ads. This is governed by Google's policies:
Because only non-personalized ads are requested, no GDPR / UK / Swiss / CCPA consent form is shown — non-personalized ads do not require user consent under those frameworks.
Ads are not shown on the Quran reader, the 99 Names screen, or the Qibla compass — only on the Prayer, Duas, Tasbih, and More tabs.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13 and is not classified as a "family" app on Google Play.
