Privacy Policy — NoteFlow

What this app collects

NoteFlow does not collect any personal information from you. The app does not have user accounts, does not ask for your name or email, and does not record your behaviour on a server we control.

How notes and tasks are stored

Every note and every to-do you create stays on your device inside NoteFlow’s private app folder. Nothing is uploaded, synced to a cloud, or shared with any third party by the app itself. Uninstalling NoteFlow deletes all of it.

Reminders and notifications

When you attach a date and time to a note or task, NoteFlow schedules a local Android alarm. At the chosen moment the operating system wakes the app for an instant so it can post a single notification on your device with the title and a short preview of the body. The reminder is stored on-device and is not transmitted to any server.

On Android 13 and newer, Android asks for explicit permission before NoteFlow can post notifications. If you decline, reminders are still scheduled but you will not see them — you can grant permission later from Settings › Notifications inside the app.

Network connections

Notes, tasks, and the calendar run entirely on your device. The internet is used only for Google AdMob to load ads (see “Advertising” below). The app requires an active internet connection to open — you will see a “You’re offline” screen when offline; your saved notes and tasks are still safely on the device and will be available as soon as you reconnect.

Permissions the app requests

The app does not request photo, contacts, location, system-calendar, microphone, or camera permissions.

Advertising

NoteFlow shows ads provided by Google AdMob in three formats: banner (small strip above the navigation bar), interstitial (occasional full-screen ad after saving several notes or tasks), and app-open (full-screen ad when you bring the app back to the foreground). Google’s advertising SDK collects and processes limited data — for example, your device’s advertising identifier and approximate IP-based location — to serve and measure ads. This is governed by Google’s policies:

If you live in a region where consent is required (the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or a US state with applicable privacy law), the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) so it stays compliant with GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA. You can review or change your choice any time from Settings › Ad privacy options inside the app.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and is not classified as a “family” app on Google Play.
