Sahtein (“the app”, package com.devmr.sahtein) is a free directory
that helps you discover well-known restaurants, bakeries, sweet shops, supermarkets and delivery
platforms in Lebanon and open their official ordering pages. This policy explains what data is and
is not handled when you use the app.
Sahtein itself does not ask for, collect, or store any personally identifiable information. We do not require an account, and we do not run our own servers that receive your data. Your chosen language and your list of saved (favourite) places are stored only on your device using Android local storage and never leave it.
The app shows ads via Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process certain information (such as a device advertising identifier, general location inferred from IP, and app interaction data) in accordance with Google’s policies. In regions where it is required (for example the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the app presents a Google-certified consent (UMP) form before personalised ads are requested, and you can review or change your choices at any time from About → Privacy options inside the app.
When you choose a place, the app opens that brand’s official website, app or its delivery partner’s page (for example via a secure in-app browser tab). Those third parties have their own privacy policies, and any information you provide to them (address, phone, payment) is governed by their policies, not ours. Sahtein is an independent guide and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any brand listed.
The app requests only the INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permissions,
used to load ordering pages and to display ads. It does not request access to your contacts, camera,
microphone, files, or precise GPS location.
Sahtein is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
