Privacy Policy — Wuggle

Last updated: 6 June 2026 (v1.0)

What this app is

Wuggle is an offline-style learning app for young children. With eight friendly character guides, kids explore eight learning worlds — the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, food, body words and greetings — in eight languages (English, Arabic, French, Spanish, German, Chinese, Hindi and Turkish), each shown in its own script and spoken aloud. All learning content is built into the app; there are no user accounts, no chat, no user-generated content, and no links out to the open web for children.

Made for families

Wuggle is designed for children and participates in the spirit of Google Play’s Families policy and applicable children’s privacy laws (such as COPPA and GDPR-K). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All advertising requests are tagged for child-directed treatment and limited to a maximum content rating of G (see “Advertising” below).

What this app collects

Wuggle does not collect any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no server we control that stores your child’s activity.

Sounds & voice

Wuggle speaks letters, numbers and words using the Android Text-to-Speech engine already on your device. The text spoken is the built-in learning content; no microphone is used and nothing your child says is recorded. Fun chimes and the celebration sound are generated by the app itself — no recordings are uploaded or downloaded.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

To keep Wuggle free, the app shows a small amount of advertising through Google’s AdMob SDK: one banner on the home menu and one optional “watch a short video” reward that is reachable only from behind the parental gate. There are no full-screen ads during learning and no ads when the app opens.

Because Wuggle is a children’s app, every ad request is configured for:

For more about how Google handles advertising data, see policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and the device-level controls under Android > Settings > Privacy > Ads.

EEA / UK / Switzerland consent (UMP)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to show a consent form so a parent can manage ad choices. Your choice is stored locally by the UMP SDK and respected by the app when loading ads. You can reopen these choices from the “Privacy choices” option inside the Parents area.

Parental gate

Settings, the rewarded video, external links (this privacy policy, the content-report email) and the privacy choices all sit behind a simple grown-ups-only gate (a small sum a young child is unlikely to solve), so children cannot reach ad-supported or external features on their own.

Permissions used

Reporting content

If you ever see something in the app you feel is inappropriate, a parent can tap “Report content” in the Parents area to email us. We review every report.

Internet required

Wuggle needs an internet connection to keep the app free with ads. When offline, the app shows a friendly “No internet” screen.
